About

Built in public. Honest about how.

How this was built

It started as a conversation, not a business plan. The first question was small: how do you bring AI into someone's work step by step, without overwhelming them?

Steps turned into stepstones. Stepstones turned into levels. And once there were levels, it was obviously a game — an old arcade one, amber on black, because that's honest about what it is.

Then it got bigger. Tools alone don't change a life. This is not a course in 80 AI tools — it's a way to build a freer, self-directed life, with AI as the tool, not the goal. Four steps: discover what you want (Vision), build what you need (skills and AI tools), create real-world results (income and freedom), and then go live your life — the real victory. Discipline holds it together, with streaks that never punish you.

Why a game that wants you to leave

In Her (2013, Spike Jonze), Theodore falls for an AI. The film never treats the AI as the destination. It is a passage. By the end, it has sent him back to people: he finally writes an honest letter of his own, then sits on the roof next to his neighbour, saying nothing, watching the city.

That's the whole idea here. The best AI tool is the one that gets you away from the computer — outside, to people, to the water. So the highest rank in this game is "don't be here", and the only currency in the endgame is screenless time.

AI is the door, not the room.

Purpose over paycheck

Two books shaped the Vision layer: The Café on the Edge of the World and The Big Five for Life, both by John Strelecky. Their question — what is your purpose for existing? — sits underneath every level. The income machine is just how you buy the time to live it.

How the catalog stays current

Once a week a radar scans public sources for new AI tools and big updates to the ones already here. An AI writes the entry and it goes live automatically — no waiting for a human. That keeps things fresh, but it can be wrong. So every change is listed with date and sources in the changelog, and anything wrong gets rolled back. Always check the provider's own site before you pay.

How we make money

  • [+] Affiliate links to the tools you unlock — always marked as such.
  • [+] A few ads, placed in the page next to related content: on the victory screen, the dashboard and the map. No pop-ups, no full-screen ads, nothing that pushes you to keep playing.
  • [+] Privacy-friendly visitor stats (Plausible): no cookies, no profiles.
  • [–] We never sell your data. Not now, not later.

The game is free. If a tool helps you and you sign up through our link, we get a small cut. In Europe you decide whether ads may be personalised — and you can change that any time in Settings. Details: Privacy · Imprint.
